Angels, The Ramp, Fire Tunnel

Family is on the heart of God. We were able to be a part of people's families in the last couple of days. The Little's, the Coffey's... rich hospitality, and simply beautiful times with the LORD. In the Carolina's we were blown away by blessings of all shapes and sizes.

Charleston, a time to draw together to pray for one another, and fellowship in a beautiful piece of America. We met up (once again) with the Little's, and Chris's brother's family.

We had times of prayer and connected in a deep way with new friends. We didn't really have a place to stay the first night in Charleston, but after seeking the LORD, a door opened up, and someone called and offered to pay for a hotel for the night. The next evening we had a condo to sleep for a couple nights! God is good to us... it was refreshing! So it was back to Charlotte to drop Rachel off and see the Coffey's one last time.

Mrs. Coffey shared about the death of her son, and the testimony of many angelic visitations, stoking our faith to new heights. The Kingdom of God was evident in that family, and we truly believe He's getting ready to pour out new levels of His Spirit there. Then we got on the road, and got to Greenville late.

We had heard so much about Greenville, SC. We were greeted by Ian Finlay, a good friend of ours from Kona, and he showed us to our house... we crashed and then woke early to meet Jed, the owner of the house. He has really been used to cultivate an amazing kingdom community within this area. They've helped spark prayer and intercession initiatives as well as homeless feedings and other acts of service to see Heaven realized there. You could feel the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere in that place and immediately felt at ease and that the Spirit was hovering over us. I love places like that... I only wish we had more time there. We grabbed coffee with Ian that morning, getting a little prayer sesh in before getting into Wallace, and took off for Alabama.

Alabama was a place that we probably knew the LEAST about, but had heard enough to check it out. With the few contacts we headed to Hamilton, AL where Hannah, our contact, was gracious enough to find some housing for us. When we were first dropping off the girls, we felt a little uneasy as the owners were a little hard to read... eventually we discovered they were precious people with a heart for this generation. The guys found their spot, and connected with a young high schooler named Justin, who graciously let us sleep in his guest room (free bagels and cereal as well... hmmmboy). Once we dropped off the luggage, we headed over to our first night at the Ramp for a 'Pastor's Summit'.

It's a community of believers that's seeing transformation of a city happening! Hamilton is getting ROCKED. What they believed was so much the DNA of AWAKEN it was scary... they talked often about the fact that we're on the verge of the 3rd great awakening, and that they would continue to be the Ecclesia (the governmental body of believers who allow the rule of Christ to be administered through them) until an awakening is realized. Damon, Karen and Dutch were all leaders who shared God's heart for pastors of many churches represented there. Conviction came quickly and the first night many pastors were on their faces repenting (changing their way of thinking) before the LORD. Dutch shared the next day on what ecclesia is. And Friday night ended with a 'fire-tunnel' - basically a line of people who prayed fire baptism on the people who would walk through the middle. The night was intense with passion and zeal as we worshipped the LORD with reckless abandon - hours later, people were lying everywhere having encountered Jesus in a fresh way. It was a beautiful thing... greater love was inspired for our LORD and Savior.
Saturday morning, we packed our things and were about to get on the road. It was around 8:30 and had started to think that a breakfast with Dutch Sheets wasn't a reality. We were ok with it, as we felt we had already been so blessed by having been a part of the Pastor's Summit. As 9 a.m. approached the phone rang... it was Hannah Sheets. She said "If you guys can come right now, my dad said he would have breakfast with you" - we jumped into Wallace, grabbed the girls and met at McCracken's for breakfast. It was an honor to sit with Dutch as he shared his heart for this generation and the stories of what God was doing. He also told us about his ambitions, hopes and dreams. Dutch Sheet's wrote the book "Intercessory Prayer" and his book is among the best on the subject. We said goodbye full in many ways, stomach and spirit :)

We just arrived in Tennessee and are excited to see what the LORD will show us here.

Helsers & Peterson - Heaven in NC

We were up early seeking the LORD. I remember pacing around the room and thinking about how blessed we've been on this trip. Through meals and housing provided, favor in the area of meeting leaders, rekindling old relationships (we met up with Calvin and Camille Hanson and Rachel Coffey) and just enjoying the LORD's goodness and nearness... I was walking around the room when I looked over and noticed a picture on the guest room that was a painting of 2 children playing, and lyrics framed in the larger frame, not thinking anything , I went back to worship. Around lunch, we were talking about where we were going next, as soon as we mentioned the name "Helser", Debbie Little (Chris's mom) went upstairs and brought down the picture... it was painted by Ken Helser, with lyrics of a song he had written years before. Small world.
There's times when Heaven collides with earth, an
d those fortunate to experience it, know that it's a beautiful thing to behold. After being with Chris Little and his amazing family in Fayetville, North Carolina, and truly living in the midst of southern hospitality, we went down to Sophia, NC to Jonathan Helsers ranch. Jonathan and his wife Melissa, write some of the most inspired worship music you'll ever hear. The day after we arrived after enjoying an incredible breakfast meal with the community at the ranch, they began to encompass us and pray. It seemed for a moment angels entered the room and began to accompany the Helsers as they began to prophetically sing over us. It was majestic. We came back down to find things very well with our souls, and encouraged by our new friends. They told us that the it was time to re-awaken the wells of creativity within the body of Christ. Yes LORD.
The night before we spent the evening over coconut cream pie and coffee with Ken Helser (Jonathan's dad) - talk about a dude speaking wisdom from experience! Each word seemed anointed as he shared with us a longing for this generation to go beyond simply filling ourselves with knowledge, but to lay hold of the promises. We need more "fathers and mothers" of the faith like Ken and his wife.
Matt Peterson was an ex-CIA agent who was so aprehended by the Gospel that he gave it up for the ministry. Tasting of the supernatural life found in Christ, he began to ask the LORD for something bigger than what he had known. For a year he let God speak to him through a water bottle before he finally got the message. He was to start a company called ZAO water that would give the proceeds to fund wells being dug in Africa to bring pure water to suffering communities. He's dug countless wells and seen thousands impacted.

Matt told us a story of being in Africa a couple years ago, when a chief of one of the tribes came up to him with a crazy look in his eye and in a foreign language started cursing him. After a translator was sought out, he told the man something along the lines of "You're old, and you're going to die soon." After the man had taken time to think about this, he responded with "What should I do?"... long story short the man had had dreams of Matt for over 30 years. It was a reoccurring one of Matt taking this man and dunking him in the water and then lifting him back up. The last time that he had the dream was the night before. The man burned everything that was in opposition to the LORD and gave his life to Christ within the hour.

Matt told us that what he feels the church needs to get revelation of is that God is a loving Father who's brought us into the family (telling us that the story of the prodigal son was more of the story of God then it was the son), and that while simple, it's more relevant now then ever. He shared with us the beautiful reality that the Father never changed, the reason the son was reluctant to come home was that he didn't know the Father's goodness never changed. We run away from God instead of to Him, because we don't know Him. God, grant us a divine realization that the Father is good!

We then went to Rachel's house and that evening to Morningstar where we saw Shawn Bolz and others administer healing and prophetic words to many, God is alive and moving!

DC, Hershey, Simmons, Glory

DC. Wow... In some ways this trip is just too much for our capacities. Place to place we see the LORD at work in communities, actively moving through His people to establish justice where minds have been darkened and depraved of the knowledge of God.

JASON HERSHEY
What can I say, the guy is a legend. We sat and listened to the stories of the man who carries the gift of perseverance. EVERY DAY the man stands not only in intercessory prayer, but AS an intercession to see Abortion destroyed, and the restoration of LIFE come to a nation (our nation) that has killed countless unborn. Oh LORD forgive us! Jason stands every day outside of the Supreme Court with red tape reading "LIFE", until America awakens to the reality of what is happening. We had the privilege of doing a prayer siege with him.

DICK SIMMONS
Dick runs a mens prayer group out of DC, for the last 25 years he's been there faithfully praying for our nation, he told stories of praying hours upon hours (sometimes 10+ a day), and speaking in tongues for the majority of it. The LORD's had amazing favor on him, and we had the privilege and honor of sitting in his prayer room, listening to the revelations of the LORD to him.

We closed our time with him in intercession for the nations, there was no wimpy prayers heard that afternoon. A spirit of intercession was upon us as we were led by the Spirit in our time. MEN. WE MUST PRAY. Obviously the women must too, but as men, we have failed in this area, thank God for His grace! 1 Timothy 2:8 urges men to "pray" and "lift up holy hands"... this is one of the keys to unlocking revival.

We were also able to meet up with some good friends and family of ours as well, encouraging the believers (while being encouraged), and enjoying fellowship.

The LORD has been so faithful... and we've truly been blessed. Confidently, I can say that Aslan is on the move. Even moving from the cold of Boston to the warmth of Carolina, we sense that the state of things are changing. The warmth of the presence of God is nearer. Through communities built around His glory, the S-o-n is being magnified and laser-pointed concentration is cutting through the darkness. We are on the verge of the most exciting days...EVER.

PA, Fire and Open Visions

MORE PICTURES COMING SOON!

The journey continues. It's crazy to think that we are only 9 days into the trip, and already so much has happened. Writing a blog every other day doesn't seem to be enough to contain the lessons learned and the revelations received.

What I will say though, is the LORD IS GOOD. How He loves us...oh, how He loves us. Every soul was paid for, and if not yet realized, is waiting to come into realization of this free gift of grace and adoption into a Heavenly Home.

LANCASTER, PA:
Corey Martin along with his wife and kids showed us what it looks like to be established in a city and yet continually 'go'. Though they work for their living, the spend their lives on uniting the church in Lancaster. Faithfully being obedient to the leadings of the Holy Spirit, while doing the practical, loving, servant-act of opening up their home to friends to experience a taste of heavenly goodness. The atmosphere was rich with family and love.

One thing Corey told us about was how we need to "deepen the wells", cultivating intimacy with the LORD and realize that when we sign up for a life of following Christ, the "lines will never end". ARE WE READY CHURCH!?

HARRISBURG, PA:
We joined the DTS in Harrisburg, with the Fire and Fragrance shool. What a day. We heard a woman named Mary talk about Holiness, and living a revival lifestyle. She then ended with praying for everyone, she took time before lunch to pray a blessing and speak words of life and encouragement over each member of our team, and then invited us to come to Idaho to see her, and partner with her in some ministry! Open doors!

We spent time at Starbucks with good friends, including Jeremy Bardwell and Sammy Rodriguez. They ripped the roof off as they began talking about cultivating community, the presence of God, and seeing the supernatural result. They've seen many salvations and healings as they've beheld the LORD in worship, training and the place of prayer. Boldness and courage was imparted, and we left deeply challenged. We were also encouraged to FIND THE MUSICAL SOUND of AWAKEN. So join us in prayer as we pray for musicians to join us in realizing this Kingdom come.

COATESVILLE, PA:
Jaimie Galloway. So one of the assignments from Amy Sollars, was to find Jaimie and have him impart encounter and more while praying/sharing with us. Without going into too much detail, Jaimie messed us up...in a good way. He shared about how the Kingdom of God is at hand, and that it's not as much of a time to contend and fight, but to realize what Jesus contended and purchased for us on the cross. So much truth in what He was saying... and then there was a moment where he wanted us to see an open vision of the glory of God that covered the earth outside in the sky... we'll share more on a personal level about this experience :)

VAN RIDES:
We've found so much joy in listening to podcasts, worshipping and fellowshipping while we travel the road. Wallace has become a tabernacle for us, where praise and Heaven is acknowledge quickly, and joy abounds. Laughter, dreaming, processing are all part of the journey... We've also been able to meet with many friends along the way, and meet new ones. It's been amazing, and we're ready for the more.

RP-HOP, Koreans & Circuit Riders

Sunday morning as the weather started to clear up, we also started to feel some momentum in relationship, purpose and perspective... unfortunately (but maybe fortunately?) the van seemed to be lagging a little bit.

CIRCUIT RIDERS. Amy Sollars gave us an assignment for each week we were gone:
First assignment?: Find the statue of Paul Revere in downtown Boston, and release the Circuit Riders!... Done and done.

Here's a little piece of fiery passion for you... (ok, maybe we were just winding down our time with Paul Revere, but we did release the Circuit Riders!)...

So we were invited to go to a church near Harvard run by an amazing group most-hospitable Koreans. We felt that we should attend. It was truly an encouraging time of sitting with our Korean brothers and sisters and fellowship over Bulgogi, Kimchi...and pizza :) Shortly afterwards we were blessed by their prayers and an offering! Thank you LORD!
(Haley also gave the church an encouraging word...we hope to stay connected.)

Time to go to New Jersey. As we piled into Wallace and hit the road, we noticed loud clanking sounds coming from under the engine ...awesome... We were able to make it back to JHOP, where we sat and pondered if driving 4 hours with a problem we couldn't identify, was a good idea.

We prayed. We felt peace. We went for it. The entire time we felt the Holy Spirit's fellowship and it was an overall glorious van ride through the evening, and into the night that awaited us in Jersey.
JERSEY and the RESTING PLACE HOP. We found the house and connected with Ali where we were greeted with food and family. Instant connection. Love swirled all around us as we laughed and feasted. We got HOOKED UP with housing, food and more than we could ask for with relationship and perspective.

So much good insight from a hungry group of people who just love to be in the River of God. We were prayed and prophesied over as we joined other members of YWAM Kona

JHOP, Harvard and Trent

Technically yesterday was our first day... Elizabeth made it in after 3+ hours of being delayed, but alas, we're all here. And we're ready to run.

Harvard, Boston, MA. It seems as though the spiritual climate matches the natural at the moment. Cold, and sun/Son-depraved, it seems to have lost it's warmth and enthusiasm. Harvard University... a place of rich spiritual heritage, is now seemingly hollowed out, and lacking vitality in regards to faith in Christ. However, if gazed through the lens of Christ and seen with an eternal, dove's-eye view, there is something shifting.

We were able to meet with Eunice Lee, a YWAM alumni who is a student at the University, who is currently leading a small group of faithful prayer warriors, eager to gather in the place of intercession for the Universities original design (which was to train up illiterate ministers to be effective in the administration of the Gospel). Though small to man's eye, this group is a powerful testimony that great things don't need to come in great sizes. A modern day Gideon's army to declare war on the ideologies of man, and to gaze on the beauty of Christ while hell stands in temporary opposition.

Shortly after this encouraging meeting, that spoke of subtle/inevitable revival beginning, we met with Trent Sheppard (author of "God on Campus") who shared with us the simple, but overlooked, and profound reality that JESUS WAS (and IS A MAN). As he unpacked the idea of what real community looks like for him, his family and his friends, he opened up his heart to us to reveal the idea of Jesus' humanity. Peter walked on the water because; a. Jesus was an actual MAN walking on water and b. because the 12 disciples of Christ were called to become like their Rabbi.

What amazing revelation! We must not forget that Jesus was, Jesus IS a man. As we read through His acts, we have to keep in mind that he was and is flesh and blood. As believers we can make things weird, but the demystifying truth is that Jesus laid his human hands (with only very little aesthetic differences than our very own hands) on people and they were healed, with very "normal" lungs and breath and tongue and lips He delivered words that administered healing to and for the nations. Jesus was human. We are human. Let's walk on water without being weird.

The JHOP (justice house of prayer) crew has been amazingly hospitable. Members cooking us food, sharing their living space and being a walking testimony of God on the move in Boston.

Side note: We got Wallace the Tabernacle (our van), after much testing of our patience (but even in this our friend Ryan Moreno gave us a timely word of encouragement to keep our eyes on Jesus.

Thanks for your prayers, please let us know if you have questions about ANYTHING!
